By Evan HoopferDallas-based Trammell Crow Co. plans to build more than 2 million square feet of speculative industrial space at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, according to DFW Airport Committee Agendas and Actions filings.
The project includes four speculative buildings that can either be warehouses or logistics facilities. Overall, the developer is requesting to pay about $2 million annually to lease more than 130 acres for the project. Here are the details of each building:
- Building 1 — 1.1 million square feet, expected ground rent income of $101,350 a month
- Building 2 — 709,700 square feet, expected ground rent income of $67,083 a month
- Building 3 — 99,000 square feet, expected ground rent income of $11,617 a month
- Building 4 — 104,000 square feet, expected ground rent income of $11,965 a month
