Plastics manufacturer spending $10M to expand in Garland

Plastipak Packaging plans to spend more than $10 million to expand operations and add workers at a Garland manufacturing facility.

The company, which produces and supplies plastic bottles to major brands like Dr Pepper, PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz and Procter & Gamble, said it will add enhanced machinery and equipment over the next three years to its 400,000-square-foot production facility at 3201 Miller Park North.

Additionally, it will add six employees to its existing workforce of 273 full-time positions at the plant.
