Extreme Sandbox to Relocate North Texas Location
In a move meant to bring heavy-equipment adventure a little closer to the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s more than 7.5 million residents and its Fortune 500 companies, Minnesota-based Extreme Sandbox has leased acreage for a new facility and plans to open the doors in September.
Extreme Sandbox, which was featured on “Shark Tank” in 2016, signed a lease for about 10 acres at The Station in Sachse, a 134-acre mixed-use development, to bring its flagship Texas location and only location outside of Minnesota closer to downtown Dallas. The land lease caps off the mixed-use district’s first phase of construction, including infrastructure, apartments and single-family housing in Sachse, a northeast suburb of Dallas about 26 miles from the city center.
