Developers are betting smaller is better with new East Dallas rental project

“Historically Dallas has built mainly two- and three- bedroom multifamily units, but one-bedroom and studio apartments are becoming more popular in urban areas in Dallas and around the country,” Blake Lugash, president of Realty Capital Partners, said in a statement. “These smaller apartment communities foster a stronger sense of community, and are popular with millennials, who are looking for more affordable housing options in hot urban areas with rising rents.”
